Real Women on the Runway

The Time is Now was a very refreshing runway show I had the opportunity to watch yesterday evening at Rosehill Lounge. Instead of displaying designer fashions on a size 0 model resembling a mannequin or clothes rack, they showcased clothing on real women with real racks. I find this appealing as a consumer because I can appreciate how a garment may fall on my body and suit my curves.

Liis Windischmann is the beauty and brains behind OTC's inaugural event. The venue, ambience, designers and models were impeccable and I look forward to seeing much more from her in the future! The Canadian designers featured were amazing and appealed not only to the 14+ crowd but to all women. The fashions included looks from: Toni+, Allistyle, Stefanie Bezaire, Gussied Up, Lola + Gigi and jewellery by Kristen Laborde Designs.
