Hair Loss and Yoga

I need to set some goals and resolutions for myself which I will document here. After going to India in April (and being vegetarian for almost a month) I lost a noticeable amount weight and have managed to maintain it. But as summer comes to an end, I am afraid I will revert my appetite back to a heartier, creamier comfort food style type of diet. Another problem I have come across in the past few months is hair loss (which I think is genetic since Mom has quite thin hair). I don't usually spend much time on personal care, and just slap on a few products inconsistently, but now I don't think I can afford to be lax about my routine.

I just ordered Nisim from http://www.flatironexperts.com/ which is a great Canadian site that offers free shipping, competitive prices, and a discount of 10% to repeat customers (coupon code: THANKS) as well as a promo offer ending this week for free mini straightener, hair mask and spray to orders over $100. I tried the 3 part system for a couple of days since my Mom had it already. The shampoo is great for my oily hair, but the conditioner wasn't the creamy type I am used to and my hair did not feel as silky, though it was detangled once I brushed it (I can usually get away without brushing with other conditioners). The serum was quite watery, but easy to massage into wet hair. The directions say to use twice daily and I found it a bit difficult to massage into my dry hair. I will try to keep up with this routine and see how well it works, in a less than a week I noticed fewer large clumps of hair coming off my head in the shower.

To maintain my weight I will try to do a bit of simple exercise, maybe yoga, at least once a week to start. I need something that I can do from the comfort of my home or else I will give up. Hopefully I can find a good youtube channel that offers some good beginner exercises. Please let me know if you have any suggestions!
